Rev has been stringing lacrosse sticks longer than most players have been alive. What started as a desire for a custom pocket at 10 years old turned into a craft — one head at a time, one knot at a time.
A passion that started as young player.
It started when I was ten years old. I got my first custom lacrosse stick — an STX Viper head, white, with white six-diamond leather stringing, on a Warrior titanium shaft. That's how the game was meant to be played: leather runners, knots meticulously tied by hand. I knew then that I wanted to learn to string. I taught myself by looking at other pockets, and visually reverse engineering them. Before long I could add my own style cues and enhancements. Since then, I've been relied on to string teammates sticks through college and beyond. Today I'll string traditional, mesh, custom pockets, anything you want. But every stick that leaves my bench has the same standard: it has to feel right in my hands first.
